Is this some kind of model for the South American market. I know they like to put different front ends on old models and make them look like shit.

So one of these (with, intriguingly, the side indicators deleted to save a few cents)

People who pull up the handbrake without pushing the button in first to avoid that horrible noise.

I like that noise. I’ll pull it and release it multiple times just to make the noise.

I call it an e-brake most of the time because I’m lazy and it’s just easier.

North American. I would say since so many cars are auto here, the “e(mergengy)-brake” or “parking brake” is often on the floor, so it doesn’t make much sense to call it a handbrake. Therefore even when it is a handbrake, since the function is the same, the name e-brake or parking brake is used.
